Welcome!
If you have found my website, you are here because either you or a loved one has entered the world of cancer survivorship. The Triumph Fitness Program offers an opportunity for cancer survivors to take those first steps to regaining normalcy in their lives through physical fitness with a group of fellow survivors. Recognition

There is a Chinese proverb that I feel embodies the spirit of the people listed below,

"Words are mere bubbles of water, deeds are like drops of gold."

The Triumph Fitness Program has truly been a team effort between me, UC Davis Cancer Center & Savvy Fitness in Sacramento, and Memorial Medical Center & the Hill Center for Integrative Medicine in Modesto, but it would not have come into being without the help of these other truly significant individuals. So a very special thanks to my extended Triumph family!

Stephen Shelley at AppsOn - who spent countless hours creating our website and through his design work captured the spirit of Triumph.

Jon Eager - A chance meeting on the bus ride back from the 2004 Ride for the Roses in Austin found a believer in my program. Jon and his company California Check Cashing, opened his wallet and became one of our first sponsors.

Kelly Lenfert, Peter Foster, Greg Ferris, Michael Wolf and Allison Wright - Part of my extended LAF family and chief cheerleading section who kept me motivated each time I encountered a new roadblock in establishing Triumph.

Elizabeth Kreutz - All of the photos from the Ride for the Roses event in Austin were generously provided by Kreutz Photography. Elizabeth has been capturing the spirit of the Lance Armstrong Foundation's special events since the beginning! To see more photos log onto, www.kreutzphotography.com

Canyon Twer - Who welcomed the Triumph Sacramento program into his fitness facility for the first two years of its existence. Thank you for believing in our program!

Paul Almond - My husband, business partner and best friend who has been with me every step of this journey. He has endured it all. I couldn't ask for a better life partner.

This program is dedicated to the memory of Lori Tilton. The LAF Peloton Project Triumph Award that I received was named in Lori's memory. Lori was a vivacious young woman and fellow LAF fundraiser who lost her battle with cancer in the summer of 2004. Her spirit lives on through the Triumph Fitness Program. I hope I have made her sister Kelly, and the rest of Lori's family proud.

Triumph
1. The fact of being victorious.
2. A noteworthy or spectacular success.
3. Exultation or rejoicing over victory or success.
4. Kicking cancer in the butt!
