Welcome!
If you have found our website, you are here because either you or a loved one has entered the world of cancer survivorship. The mission of the Triumph Cancer Foundation is to empower cancer survivors through our programs, events, and outreach efforts in the community. The Triumph Cancer Foundation is a registered 501(c)(3) public charity based in Sacramento, California.

Our signature program, the Triumph Fitness Program, offers an opportunity for cancer survivors to take those first steps to regaining normalcy in their lives through physical fitness with a group of fellow survivors. Our goal, through this program, is to remind each participant of their inner strength which may have been forgotten amid the drugs, treatments, and worrying. Through Triumph Fitness, we instill hope!

About

The Triumph Fitness Program is a 12-week strength and fitness program for people who have recently completed cancer treatment. A cancer diagnosis and subsequent treatment can be devastating both emotionally and physically. The Triumph Fitness Program's goal is to help cancer survivors take back their lives while exercising with a group of like-minded individuals.

Participants build muscle mass and strength, increase flexibility and endurance, and improve their capacity to perform activities of daily living. The program also may reduce the severity of cancer side effects, prevent unwanted weight changes, and improve energy levels and self-esteem.

A final goal is to help participants develop their own physical fitness regimens - so that they can continue to triumph on their own.
